Bookmark with Quotations: Reading
(by: Dimas Purnama Adi Wicaksono, an UKSW student)
Here I am, everyone. Dimas has arrived. In this remarkable situation, I would like to share a story about Greek Mythology I found from ER-Central. The story is titled: The Peacock and Juno. It was posted by Pablo and it is a book with an 18.00 level of literacy and has 129 words. I made a bookmark and add a quotation to it, so let's check it out!
Before we take a look at my glorious bookmark, I would like to tell you about the story briefly. So you will be able to know about the context of the bookmark. So, it is a story of Peacock that complains to Juno, the Goddess of Love and Marriage herself about being upstaged by the nightingale's singing. And then, Juno explains how each individual is given special traits, and that one cannot have them all at once.
So, here it is everyone, I hope you're ready to see it.
Beautiful, isn't it? Well, I hope you like it because I put my soul and life when I was making it, hehe. It is a quotation that was being said by Juno herself to Peacock, when he was ranting and complaining to her. I feel like it is a very good quote and has a meaning behind it. So yes, I chose this to be a part of my lovely bookmark. I had a feeling that this quote has a deep meaning in it. It is like, teaching you to be yourself and be grateful for everything you have and don't be envious of someone else's.
And that's it for this blog, I hope you like it. May God bless you and have a good day!
Nice bookmark, DImas.
